Play Dough Fun!

So I have to admit that sometimes I really struggle with finding fun things for Noelle and I to do together to keep busy during the day. But this morning we had a lot of fun! I remember my mom would make play dough sometimes so I looked it up and found a VERY easy recipe.

Here's a video of her letting you know what we are going to do.

Sitting with all our supplies.
Pouring in the baking soda
Very cute stirring picture.
And another very cute stirring picture!
Picture of us together. Very bad angle for me but still cute.
What it looked like when it first went on the heat.
And after a while of stirring! Getting ready to dye it.
Putting in the blue food coloring.
She was pretty impressed at how it changed color.
Mixing the yellow in.

After we made all our colors we put a hand print in each. I have no idea how I got her to pose so perfect!
Time to play!
For some reason she really enjoyed touching her face with it.
We suggest a nice bath after play dough time!
If you too would like to make play dough with your kids, here is a video telling you how!

It has been a great Friday and I look forward to a great weekend. After Rebecca's baby shower tomorrow we are going down to Santa Barbara to visit some family especially my Grandpa. He really loves Noelle and while I am very grateful for his good health right now I know he is getting older and I want him to be able to spend lots of time with Noelle while he is up to it. He's pretty amazing. So have a good weekend everyone!
