Pumpkin Carving, Halloween and a Pony Ride!

Thursday morning we headed over to my mom's where Annie, Josiah and Eli joined us for a fun breakfast and pumpkin carving.

I'm a sucker for silly things like pumpkin paper plates but I think our pumpkin carving breakfast was pretty cute. We had eggs, sausage and Cinnamon rolls. We also drank way too much hot chocolate as the morning passed!

The kids all gathered around the table to start carving pumpkins.

Noelle wasn't too sure about the pumpkin goop inside but it quickly became her favorite part of the day!

My sisters with Noelle and I.

Noelle with Janelle after we finished our Mickey pumpkin. Noelle helped cut the top off and cut out one eye and spent the rest of the time playing with the "pumpkin soup"

Showing off our Mickey Mouse pumpkin, I'm pretty proud of how it turned out!

After Mickey I moved onto another pumpkin and Noelle turned mickey into a mess but obviously had a blast doing it.

We had to clean him up a little when she was done with him!

All the kiddos lined up with the pumpkins

Kisses for Siah

And of course for Eli too! She loves those boys! Annie and I with the kids. Halloween started with dinner at my parents house and then getting Noelle ready for trick or treating. She ran up and down the hall very excited to finally have Halloween here and be a fairy. I'll admit I was just as excited as she was and pretty proud of the fairy skirt I made!

Getting ready to go out with my parents. One kid and five adults trick or treating.

Next we headed over to the Scotts so she had some buddies to trick or treat with. Eli got the special treatment of riding in a car so he could keep up. He was a pretty cute monkey.
Noelle all ready to go with Daddy Noelle and Siah running up to a door. Siah was Handy Manny, a construction worker with talking tools from the Disney channel.
Gettin some candy. I think there were only two houses total where she said Trick or Treat after the door was opened. She would say it all the time but get shy once they opened the door. A couple times all on her own she turned around as she was walking away and said "Happy Halloween" to the person who gave her candy.

Back at the Scott's checking out her loot.
I think he must have been handing out candy!

Grabbing as much as she can with one hand.
Here's some short clips from her night. The first all you can see is her glow necklace but you can hear her getting ready for the first house.

Saturday we went to the park to play while Nick was disk golfing with some friends. The park was not nearly as crowded as it usually is on Saturday and the ponies were out with no line so we decided it was a good day for her first pony ride. My Dad told me when Noelle was born that I wasn't allowed to take her on the ponies without him so they came out to join in her fan club. Once again, one kid and six adults for a pony ride! She gets more love and attention then she'll ever realize!
Checking out the ponies before her ride. I thought she would be a little shy but she loved them!
Waving to us from her pony "Stumpy"
Riding like a pro
Since there was no one else there she got a good 20 minute ride and she seemed to love every minute.
