I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Today we went up to Pismo to see the butterflies (Every year thousands of Monarch butterflies migrate to Pismo to live in the eucalyptus grove for the winter and it's amazing to see because the trees are covered in clusters of butterflies) but we were a couple days late and they have all left for the year. It was a big bummer so no pictures to share of that but it was still a beautiful drive and Noelle loved running around outside. The drive up is so beautiful now because of the rain we have had. Everything is so green! We are watching my mother in laws dog for the weekend so we also got to go take her on a walk today. Heidi is a great dog and follows without a leash but stops often to sniff everything on the way. When she got too far behind Noelle would look back and say "HEIDI, HEIDI" and wait for her to come running.

My mom and I went up to SLO the other day and walked around Bed, Bath and Beyond for a good hour and a half just looking at everything. Noelle did really well but got a little bored. When we hit the beds we thought she would have fun feeling the soft leopard blanket. We were right!

Noelle "seeping" as she would say.
It's pretty funny to pretend to sleep.
On our way home we met Baba (Grandpa) for lunch at the Branch street deli. Here is Noelle in her high chair.
Playing "bonk" with Baba. Thanks for teaching her how to head butt Dad, great life skill!
So right by the parking lot we use for the branch street deli is this cool bridge and grass area. Noelle had a blast running up and down the bridge with Baba.
There are a bunch of chickens that just run around the parking lot and grass. Noelle loved chasing after them and every time she heard a rooster crow she got the funniest look on her face sadly I didn't get a picture of it.

Here is my favorite chicken!
Noelle being silly.
After my dad went back to work my Mom, Noelle and I went to Doc Burnstein's (sp?) for ice cream. Noelle got the cone with a little coffee ice cream on the edge. She loved her cone.
She kept looking inside of it, not sure what she saw but she liked looking.
Doc Burnsteins has a train the runs all along the top of the shop. The tracks were open right above us and Noelle loved watching it go by.

On the way to Pismo today Noelle got bored in her car seat. I'm always grateful if I have some junk mail lying around when gets bored. Today she had a Dell magazine to read. When we talked to her she would put it to the side and stare at us just like an old man reading a newspaper, all she was missing was reading glasses.
